Choose a bike you can control confidently at low speed, through bends and when braking downhill. For experienced riders, the Honda ADV 160 offers an automatic adventure-style option, the Honda ADV 350 adds more size and touring performance, and the Yamaha WR155 is a manual choice for riders already comfortable with gears and a taller dual-sport style motorcycle.

More engine capacity is not automatically safer or better. If a heavier bike is outside your normal experience, choose something lighter that you can manage confidently.
